It is the standard treatment and prophylaxis for vitamin-K-deficiency bleeding in newborns and for reversal of warfarin and other vitamin-K-antagonist anticoagulation.

Tranexamic Acid Injection is a sterile, ready-to-use parenteral antifibrinolytic supplied as 100 mg/mL in 5 mL (500 mg) and 10 mL (1,000 mg) ampoules.
